Prolonged sunlight can cause inadequately protected polycarbonate sheets to yellow and lose clarity. UV Protective Layer helps reduce the effects of ultraviolet radiation on the material, supporting the daylighting performance and appearance of outdoor canopies, skylights and daylighting walls.
When choosing sheets, check the UV protection characteristics of each product range. For sheets protected on one side, install the manufacturer-marked side facing the sun. LIONVINA can help check specifications and installation orientation before work begins.

SOLID SHEET GUIDEChoose thickness in conjunction with roof area, purlin spacing, wind loads and installation design. Send your dimensions or drawings so LIONVINA can check the specifications before cutting.
Prices are confirmed according to thickness, colour, width, cut length and quantity. Send your requirements for LIONVINA to quote full sheets, full rolls or cut-to-size pieces, together with delivery charges and VAT.price list. Cutting dimensions, quantities and transportation are confirmed for each order.
POLYCAR 2.7 mm carries a 10-year warranty. Check its scope and applicable conditions when ordering; retain purchase documents and follow the installation instructions.
Identify the UV side using the label or protective film. Confirm the framing, profiles, gaskets and screws according to the design, and check expansion gaps, drilled holes and bending radii against the specifications. Read the solid sheet installation guide before installation.
